Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?
Delivery of your vehicle will take anywhere from the same day to 14 days. Your car is being loaded on a car carrier along with other cars being delivered to other destinations. Delivery times fluctuate depending upon the number of miles between origin and destination, the proximity to other cars being delivered on the same carrier, weather, and unforeseeable events such as traffic accidents and carrier break downs.
Below are some rough estimates:
East Coast to West Coast approx. 7-14 days
Midwest to East Coast approx. 5-8 days
South to North approx. 5-8 days
All transport times are estimates and should not be considered as guarantees.
How does door-to-door service work?
Door-to-door service means the truck driver will get as close to your door as he can legally and safely. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. Transport trucks are massive and need lots of space to maneuver and turn around. If your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the driver may ask you to meet the truck at a different destination.
Who can I contact during my transport?
The company transporting your vehicle will provide you with a number that you can call and receive your information.
What about insurance coverage?
The carrier transporting your vehicle will provide you with insurance. This insurance covers all damages caused by accidents while the vehicle is being loaded, major changes in the vehicle's condition, and unforeseeable damage that is a result of mishandling by the carrier.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, cahier check, money orders, visa and master cards will be accepted. No personal checks and no business checks will be accepted. Payment must be arranged prior to pick up.
Can customers leave personal items in the vehicle?
The US Department of Transportation prohibits the carrying of personal items on a truck licensed only for carrying automobiles. By violating this federal law, the company transporting your vehicle can be fined up to $10,000. All personal belongings that are left inside the vehicle will not be insured and no company is responsible for missing or damaged items.
Will my car go to a terminal?
It depends on what day your vehicle is scheduled for pickup and delivery. If the carrier cannot pickup/deliver your vehicle(s) due to scheduling conflicts, inaccessible areas or both. All terminals used are secured, licensed, and fully insured.
Why does a truck (SUV) cost more than a regular vehicle?
All shipments are based on weight that a truck can legally carry. This is why there may be a small price difference.
What paperwork do I need in order to ship my vehicle?
In order to transport you vehicle you don't need to provide any paperwork. All that we ask from you is a signature and a walk around your vehicle. During this walk you and the driver will inspect the vehicle for any pre-existing damages at pickup.
What should the customer do if the vehicle arrives with damage?
Cash, cashier check, money orders will be accepted. No personal checks and no business checks will be accepted. Payment must be arranged prior to pick up.
How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?
We recommend that you do it as fast as possible but you have up to a week to let us know.
